Information

The Norguera Pallaressa, Flamicel, and the other rivers detailed in this holiday have their sauces in the glacial lakes of the high Pyranees, and run through fantastic scenery of canyons, pine forests, and pasture, to eventually join the Mighty river Ebro.

This holiday is in the mountains and foothills, with details of over 200 km. of rivers and 15 lakes, all are ticket waters run by the local angling federation. Day tickets cost 8,50 euros a day and are available from local hotels, bars, and campsites, the details of which are included in the holiday pack, along with plans, maps, and our favourite stretches.

Season 9th. of March to the 31st. of August.

There are many other attractions as this area is a centre of mountain tourism, with skiing, hiking, trekking, climbing, quads, Canoeing, and rafting in their season, and excursions to the Aguiestortes national park.

Hotels on the river bank around 42 euros a night for two people in a double room. Many with excellent kitchens.

How to get there Best from Barcelona, apx. two and a half hour drive on good roads, with car hire from apx. 25 euros per day.
